Dear Madame Chair Andrea Salinas and Committee,
I am writing to oppose HB3063. It is my concern as a parent of vaccine injured children, that they are about to be excluded from public school.
My story is long but I will try to shorten it. My oldest son Enoch, began displaying alarming reactions to his vaccines beginning at 4 months old. He was covered in a rash that looked like a chemical burn that permanently scarred his skin. He developed PICA disorder, and serious food allergies to eggs and yeast after his first dose of MMR. He developed severe Asthma after his DTap at 18 months old. It was then that I followed my intuition and began questioning our ideas about vaccines. At that point we had our youngest baby who also developed yeast infections and asthma after that final DTap in October of 2017.
Since that final shot, my two boys have had health crisis, after health crisis including Asthma, RSV, Chronic Croup, Chronic Bronchiolitis, Intussusception (intestinal collapse). Their pediatrician from Salem Pediatric denied every connection we made to their vaccines. She even went as far as to lie to me about the clinics vaccine policy to coerce me into vaccinating my youngest. She even had her nurse follow me to my car demanding I sign a form saying that I was going against her medical advice, and she then kicked us out of her practice while our son was admitted to Dornbechers.
My son Enoch has heavy metal poisoning. The clinician that tested him told me, that while she believes that this is a result of his vaccinations and his genetic type, that she couldn't officially tell me that for fear of losing her job at our Family Clinic. As you may be aware, Aluminum is an adjuvant used in many childhood vaccinations. A behavioral specialist from WESD asked me during his assessment for developmental delays, if I understood the ramifications of Aluminum poisoning that studies have shown that it leads to ADD and Alzheimers. That kind of statement shook me as a mother. The fact that it’s a possibility for one of my sons to experience such a debilitating disease is disconcerting.
I tell you all this to make a point that there is a major disconnect between parents, medical professionals and vaccine policy. How is a child supposed to receive a medical exemption when the facts of their condition are denied? I don't know the answer to that question either. That is why my family relies on personal exemptions for education. My daughter Madeline talks about school every day. We live across the street from Faye Wright. I may be having to tell her that she cannot attend school this fall with our neighbors and her friends if this law passes.
This bill also includes state licensed daycare facilities. Meaning the daycare that our personal friend from church runs. This personal friend of ours has watched our kids numerous times and this bill will not allow our children in her care anymore. Its more than just an inconvenience, it’s an assault on our personal lives and the decisions we make in our home.
My husband and I are born again Christians. We have strong convictions about our health and what we put into our bodies. I feel strongly that the information about vaccines, such as vaccine inserts, should not be withheld from parents, and that decisions like vaccinating need to only be between the physician and the family.
Please oppose this bill as it violates every aspect of our freedoms.
